Our online service is trusted and recommended by personnel and regiments throughout UK and with over 120 Years of combined experience in military tailoring and 15 years successfully trading online, we have found our self measure service to be a truly reliable way for our customers to receive high quality made to measure garments at their convenience. Because we deal direct with our customers through our online service we are able to offer the premium quality tailored uniforms that British Army officers expect but with significant savings over traditional visiting tailors.
Our uniforms are all hand-made in our workshop in Yorkshire and we are confident you will not find a better service. Please follow the instructions carefully as measurements taken may not be the same as standard shop bought clothing.
Our extremely experienced team can usually spot any mistakes in supplied measurements and will contact you for clarification.
If you are still concerned about taking your own measurements and would like to visit us for measuring please call us on 0113 2889944 during office hours to make an appointment with us at our Leeds factory. There is a £20.00 surcharge for this service.
All our uniforms are covered by our 30 Day No-Quibble Guarantee* so in the unlikely event you are not completely satisfied with your uniform we promise to make any alterations you require free of charge within 30 days of receipt of your uniform.

1. If you are not completely happy with your uniform please email us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please supply your original order number, name and address, along with details of the problem. It may be helpful to send us photographs to help us see the problem.
2. Upon receipt of your query we will contact you with details of how to return your garment to us. All garments must be returned within the first 30 days of receiving your order.

We know how important it is you have your mess dress ready to wear when you need it and we know sometimes it's difficult to pay for everything up front. That's why we've made it easy for you to buy the kit you need today and pay for it over 3 instalments.
Typically this means we will arrange with you to take 3 consecutive payments with your nominated credit/debit card. To apply please select the monthly payment option during checkout. Please note this facility is only available for purchases of full mess dress over £300 and is available to UK and BFPO addresses only.
Because our uniforms are hand cut and tailored to your measurements they take time to produce. So please be patient. We make every effort to despatch your kit as soon as we can. With the standard delivery option your kit will usually be dispatched within 3-4 weeks.
If for any reason you need your uniform sooner we offer a Priority option. With a Priority option your uniform will be placed on priority status. Your kit will usually be dispatched within 14 working days.
For made to measure items UK mainland we use a tracked courier service. Providing us with your mobile number at checkout means our couriers can notify you about expected delivery times. From despatch deliveries in the UK are usually within 2 days.
Delivery estimates for NI are normally 2-5 days from dispatch via Royal Mail Parcel Force (Insured).
Non Made to measure Items
We always aim to despatch orders within 2 working days. For safety please allow up to 5 working days for despatch. We will notify you if there is a problem processing you order.
Because of the special nature of the BFPO service we have no way to guarantee delivery dates once your consignment has been handed over to the BFPO service. The BFPO service has its own deadlines for holidays and special events. More information about BFPO schedules and deadlines can be found at the BFPO website.
Goodalls tailors are committed to your security and all orders despatched by us are sent in unmarked packaging.
For orders shipping overseas through BFPO We are happy to refund any VAT paid upon receipt of a validated VAT form. On receipt of your form we will make a full refund of all VAT paid on your order.
For non-tailored items items We will accept the returns only if they are unopened and in their original condition. You must notify us of your intent within 7 days after the day you receive your order. A full refund will be made within 30 days from receipt by us of returned items. In the case of unwanted goods, we require our customers to cover the cost of returning items.

When you register, we need to know your name, e-mail & delivery address so we can process your order. We may request your Rank and Regiment so that we can send you the correct kit, neither your Rank or your Regiment or any other indicator of military status will be used in any correspondence or delivery except for BFPO deliveries.
We may also ask for your telephone number to enable us to contact you urgently if there is a problem with your order. For some deliveries this number may be given to our couriers in case there is a problem with your delivery.
