Un-mounted medals are sold loose with approx 6" of ribbon.
If you don't require your medal(s) mounted - select None in the Court Mounting dropdown.
Miniature medals need mounting before they can be worn on your jacket. The 'Court' style of mounting is the standard for the British army and was introduced during the reign of Queen Victoria. The medals are mounted onto buckram board displaying the ribbon and medal. The medals are then hand-stitched to prevent jangling and attached to a brooch for pinning to your uniform.
For court mounting - please select the position from left to right you would like the medal to be mounted.
